If freewill was the savior of the story |
Issue 6
|
If free will exists, I am innocent in this situation.
Did you see me point a gun to her head and ask her to sin? Did you see me whisper propaganda into her head like a devil in disguise? I’ll never be an angel with a gown as white as snow. While I am on this earth, there will never be a glowing halo over my head. If this case went to court, I would argue that free will is a God-given right, and I am not guilty. That is how God intended it to be, and if we stood together in front of the judge, I would hope that he would be in my favor. Hopefully, he wouldn’t get distracted by the character you have so carefully crafted to be perfect and righteous. He would see that I have been wrongfully accused, and I was just too young to commit such a harmful crime. I am not a witch with her broom stick ready to fly at midnight. I am not a wizard that forced a potion down her throat. I chose the wrong person to befriend with the wrong family. I chose to go to the wrong place at the wrong time. I thought I could be the rescuer and have freewill be the savior of the story. Come to find out, free will is what got me in trouble in the first place. |
