Play chess, not checkers. See, an alliance is not brown and cream—black and red—white and grey, but I’m getting black and blues and abused because I’m deemed as unequal.
Play a record player on repeat with a hint of Miles Davis’ discography and dark skies that turns your smiles upside down, might be your rhythm, but not my blues, as people pledge to the American flag. Strum an E minor chord, not my feelings, while the truth rips through the clothes of the delusional. Find my peace and keep it stored away with a lock and throw away the key. The key to happiness and society’s improvement is to Grim Reaper the lies in graves and brings yellow lights as if they are in the Castaways. I say this to say… Play on the X Box Series X, not with the triangle, circle, and square combination on the controller to control my strong will. Justice and liberality of our minds will grant us the opportunity to become honest with the right reason to be happy with being loyal. |
